  428.  UserWare was founded in 1988 by its
  429.  proprietor, Ted Husted. Ted spends 8 to
  430.  12 hours a week on UserWare activities,
  431.  including order fulfillment, bookkeeping,
  432.  end-user support, research, development,
  433.  and, of course, debugging.

  435.  The rest of Ted's busy work-week is
  436.  spent as System Administrator for a
  437.  Rochester NY law firm specializing in
  438.  commercial collections.

  440.  Ted, who turns 34 this year, is also
  441.  blessed with a lovely wife, Barbara, and
  442.  an aggressive two year-old, Jacob.

  444.  Dart is UserWare's second shareware
  445.  program, of what may be a suite of (at
  446.  least) three, each designed to fill the
  447.  needs of a different brand of user.

  449.  Prior to 1992, UserWare sold over 300
  450.  copies of its Iris/Prism software, and
  451.  another 200 copies in 1992. By the end
  452.  of 1993, we hope to have a thousand
  453.  registered users.
